yes. & some of the blame is on SJWs for having bad rhetoric, but plenty is also on the anti-SJWs who represent it as much worse than it is
e.g. the Blaire tweet that started this thread by taking Riley out of context to make it look like she doesn't care abt consent

i honestly don't think riley cares abt consent in this convo, which is upsetting. she hasn't worked to improve her consent msging *at all*.
