Bush had just been re-elected. The Iraq war was in full swing.

I got into a heated argument with a middle-aged man. He was shouting "we're a country at war, we have to support our president!"

And I was returning anti-war slogans. I got so frustrated at some point I just started shouting slogans, curses, anything I could think of.

If this had been 2017 instead of 2004, there almost certainly would have been video of my "cringe SJW meltdown."

When you see these videos of "SJWs" being stereotypical, shouting, irrational messes, you're always starting to look in medias res.

You're not seeing people at their best. You're seeing often very young people, miserable at their powerlessness in the face of injustice.
