This is something I hear all the time from Alt-Lighty people: they were driven to it by the moral nitpicking of SJWs.

As a SJW who's surrounded by the moral nitpicking of SJWs all the time, I confirm that it is often very annoying.

i've heard this type of story from a lot of "antis", in varying degrees. it's fragile, but it's also human. more effective approach needed.

The thing is, though, the approach BA describes is hardly "you're a bad person!" It's "hey bro, that's not cool"

Funny. I used to be a hardline arch-conservative. It took just listening to women's, men's, & minority stories to back away from that.
