for me it was very helpful to talk to a lot of trans people and discover that my individual feelings are pretty typical of the trans pattern
In part because of the "transtrender" stigma, I was always reeeeeally careful about not appropriating trans discourse. Maybe too careful?

IMO you should not do that so much - policing what 'real trans discourse is' always seemed like a tactic of antitrans people

I totally get you, I had a similar experience with regards to queer discourse, since I only realized I was bi when I was 20.

Transtrending is good! Being trans should be so cool that people want to do it just to be cool. We aren't there yet, but its a nice goal!
