1. Transitioning isn't affordable to 99% in the 2nd/3rd world. 2. I live in 2nd world and know no trans people personally (lots of gay/bi)

I think you are right, but I see his point.If people are in an environment where it's safer to be trans, more people will leave the closet.

Me, for example, I probably wouldn't feel safe to explore and assume my bi/pansexuality if I didn't have access to feminism.
