Even using plural they you conjugate verbs the same, mate. 'They walk to the fridge and take out the milk.' Works both ways.

I saw other videos MxBritta, and she/he really cares way too much about what a pronoun says about him. It's ridiculous.

I agree, it's weird. Possibly you can sprinkle in the name ie "<name> was my friend" every once in a while just like with the trad pronouns.
