I've never actually heard a trans/NB/GNC person say "you're a bigot if you don't sleep with me" or anything close.

i have :( it's pretty aggressively directed toward lesbians. i don't think (?) it's super widespread, but it also shouldn't be minimized.

Is it really "if you won't sleep with me" though, or is it, "if you categorically rule out being with anyone who's trans"?

The framing should be "consider why you'd categorically rule out trans people," and I grant it's sometimes presented more aggro than that

"you're transphobic if you won't sleep with trans people" is not a good way to put it. And I'm sure it's sometimes put that way.

for sure. some are just making the argument poorly. that said, i have trans friends who genuinely argue genital preference can be changed.

Actually, I'd also argue that genital pref can be flexible. It has been in my case! But that seems like a separate question.

i don't think it's a separate question for people who are gay. *can* be flexible is the key, it's flexible for people who are bi.
