Now that I've I guess appointed myself a genderqueer advocate, I wish I understood my own genderqueerness a little better.

But that vagueness is frustrating when you're trying to explain this to other people. You want to be able to give a precise definition.
A complication for me is I'm starting to suspect that I might be, in fact, a trans woman with a bunch of hangups about transitioning.

inhabiting a male body, but wanting to be a woman. And now for the first time expressing that with my clothing, etc.

I identified as genderqueer, and then nonbinary more explicitly, for years. I only came out as trans recently. I get a bit of what you feel.
