Whenever I criticize "Western values" rhetoric, people always respond by saying "so you're saying LGBT rights are bad?"

What's absurd about it is that the people trumpeting "Western values" are the ones LEAST onboard with LGBT rights, feminism, etc. Eg Trump

Western values are what made LGBT rights, feminism, etc possible. The idea that everyone is equal. People are important. Etc.
