I've been thinking a lot about why I have an emotional resistance to white nationalism, and I think it's basically because I like PoC.

Honestly I grew up in the middle of nowhere so I don't really know that many PoC I just have basic human empathy & acknowledge PoC as People

City I grew up in, despite having over 100k inhabitants, barely had any black or asian people in it, and it's a similar story for me.

That's confirmation bias. People with established prejudices can be prone to it, and will seek evidence that affirms those prejudices.

But this isn't specific to any particular group. It's easier to spot when people ignore or outright dismiss evidence counter to their views.

I'dunno, I have always suspected that a lot of my fellow white dudes are hugely insecure. And the "race realist" crowd does confirm that.
