White nationalists, race realists, etc., make a lot of appeals to "the facts" that confirm "what you've always truly suspected."
I've been thinking a lot about why I have an emotional resistance to white nationalism, and I think it's basically because I like PoC.

Agreed. Where I'm from, almost everybody has black/native ancestry. Feels ridiculous to claim smtg because you happen to have lighter skin.

I grew up in Los Angeles. My schools were bereft of white students, so I was exposed to so many different people. I am grateful for that.
