Here's why I think the term "Islamophobia" is justified—

None of this has any bearing whatsoever on whether Islam's doctrines are ethical or sound.
If the term "Islamophobia" is genuinely used to silence criticism of Islam (I'm a little skeptical but I'm sure it sometimes happens)...

It does happen yes, which does not in any way invalidate the times when people are being bigoted towards Muslims.

But to me that's more down to false accusation, like when people are called racist for stupid reasons.
