Well media platforms are a kind of authority though. The bigger/respected a place is, the more dangerous it can be in the wrong hands.

I actually went to a Catholic school that taught us intelligent design in religious studies and evolution / big bang in science class.

to be fair Catholics are cool with evolution and climate change. Not other branches.
