Finally watching some Jordan Peterson lectures to get caught up on that situation. I have some major disagreements with him:

Also: you can make the case for preferred pronouns on purely liberal, individualist, pre-Marxist grounds.
But as I've said, you can disagree with "trans ideology" without being a prick to your students.

If the issue is really just "compelled speech" or some official policy, fine, attack the policy. Leave your students out of it though.

We had a professor at U of Toronto who went on a tirade about no having to call trans students by their preferred pronouns, too.:P
