My Paris vid took 2 weeks to make and has 10k views after 1 week. Sargon vid is less than a day old and has 6k views... All those hours...
I know the feel. Views aren't the most important thing. Better to have a small devoted audience than a large one that doesn't give a shit.

There's also something called "Being able to live with yourself and sleep at night" that shouldn't be underrated.

Also, making good stuff is inherently worthwhile. Better to pour 10x the time into a video with 10x fewer views.

Also, take heart that Patreon is largely replacing ad revenue as a funding source. Views matter less, quality matters more as a result.
