A lot has changed for me in the last year. I've gone from being a somewhat detached observer to a pretty committed SJW.

...ideas that I think are not just wrong but really characteristic of the worst politics human beings are capable of.
So it's more of a struggle than ever to try to see the humanity in the other side, to avoid feeling like a combatant in a good v. evil fight

But I still stand by my decision to leave the academic walls and try to engage populist ideas head on.
