It allows insincere, odious, undebatable bullies to speak for the right. & the response to that from the left can only be total opposition.

so debunk the pseudoscience. Wage war on it (as you, for instance, do). Don't just ignore it.

why do you bother arguing online then, if it doesn't work?

Because the debunking is useful for the undecided, and those who want to learn a new approach to doing so.
