It looks like we're now, in fact, looking down the barrel of that precise worst-case-scenario nightmare.
This is the ultimate test of our government and institutions. Either the courts and congress can stop this, or our system doesn't work.

I suspect they cant. Especially since tomorrow (Tuesday) Trump is selecting his SCOTUS nominee (& he may get a 2nd one later).
