The protests today were peaceful. The police were helpful. The media has taken a generally favorable view.
So I remain unconvinced by arguments in favor of violence that "all protest will be painted as violence."

The only violent thing I saw was on FB were some woman told a man she hoped his wife beat him. RL protests seemed peaceful.
