Cool Story. I worked at McDonalds and had 3 co-workers call me racist slurs in Punjabi daily. But that doesn't count right?

that's not what I'm saying. To me "colorblind" implies a phony obliviousness to the social reality of race that's not helpful.

that is an ideal situation. But it's not the situation of most of the world. And we don't get there by looking away from race.
