A lot of Trump supporters (maybe most) don't care about his policies or if he keeps promises. They like him because he "isn't P.C."

They like that he's openly contemptuous of women. They like that he's openly suspicious of ethnic minorities.
It makes it feel that it's okay for them to be like that too. That some smug professor can't force manners down their throats.
