i think this is a super important acknowledgement to make. i personally would love it if gender neutral language was used more, but I feel like woke cis people get overly worried about things in a way that makes you feel *more* conscious of your transness

I’m geniounly curious about gender variant people in Spanish speaking countries since our language doesn’t have much room for gender neutrality

I think (dont quote me on this) they've been trying for gender neutral stuff like using "e" instead of "a" or "o" at the end of gendered words (eg, amige) and ofc, using latinx instead of latino/a. I dont know how successful or prevalent it's all been, tho.

I mean no not exactly bc ya kinda looped around and made other implication with that message. That one message isn't wrong, but it's not the only thing you said.

can I ask what "overly worried" means? is it that every time cis ppl see a visibly/noticeably not-cis person they do the pronouns thing? should they only do it when they know the person is actually nb and not a binary trans? and how are they to know that before they ask? jw
