      I hate the phrase “trans attracted men” with everything in my soul 🤢 This reads to me as cis men who are CHASERS with some fetish towards trans folks. People who are attracted to trans folks are attracted to us for the right reasons. They don’t need a label.

      tbh I'd rather be with a respectful trans amorous partner that loves my transness than with a straight man who'd ultimately prefer a cis girl. I don't understand why so many trans women insist on calling these men chasers, as if they didn't already get shamed enough by cis ppl

          Seeing someone who's dated other trans people. Is he specifically attracted to trans folk, is it coincidence? Does not describe or advertise he is seeking trans people. Not being affected by someone's transness makes it easier for that individual due to stigma dating trans ppl.

          Due to the limiting aspect of that stigma, there are just more available people to date in trans spaces. Whether that person is exploiting it or just naturally not limited by it, I think it's more about whether they exhibit generically abusive behavopr than desire to date us.

          Am I the only one who fails to see how it would be desirable to be the first trans partner of a cis person? There's the anxiety about what if they turn out not be into it and the possible burden of educating them, possibly from the ground up.

          Yeah, it would be wrong but she's talking about people who find being transgender to be a particularly attractive trait, not people who would just get with anyone who's transgender and view other aspects of who they are as unimportant
