Always shocked people in philosophy of all disciplines can be so militantly incurious about an entire dimension of the human experience. “This thing is this way, and if you even ask if it could be another way you’re mentally ill, and no I won’t be taking questions.” Incredible.

Really ? they never remember the 80s , that boyband they all liked wore nail polish and makeup for all the photosets

Also the 90s when the nice, clever sensitive lads who liked Greenday all wore black nail polish. As did the slightly nuts Slipknot fans (I lose all touch with youth culture at that point)
