Never heard of her before this incident. This is basically the same as the right wing demanding Muslims denounce everything every time a Muslim does something wrong, and asking, "Why don't they denounce the bad thing?"

Unfortunately, yes, I'd heard of her when she first started her "performance art" (or trans-trolling, which is what this really is.) Make the video. I'm barely a year past being an egg, so I'm letting the elders deal with it.

To be fair to everyone, I can't find a single source that doesn't misgender her or provide any evidence of predatory behaviour. (and not to police things as a cis gal, but it doesn't seem okay to set a precedent to misgender even if they're a bad person.)

I was of the opinion people of the left should speak up on it as now it’s being held as an example of terfs and conservatives being “right” but if I’m being real doesn’t the trans community get that anyway? Regardless of the story is it really that different?

But honestly there needs to be a response. This shit has way too much traction and the bigots have seized the narrative. Global News finally put out some decent journalism yesterday, but rightwing media is still in control.
