I am deliberate about trying to make my content as relevant to as many people as possible. The last two vids were the first I've done with a primarily female audience in mind (which is why my analytics are what they are now).

But even in the beauty vid I made sure to discuss male beauty via incels, & there's references to LGB, trans, non-binary variants on the topic. It's good for audience building obvi but it also gives me this like Shakespearean sense of balance, trying to speak to everyone.

I never thought of that detail. Maybe on a subconscious level it did something for me personally but I never felt like I was excluded. I think anecdote's your main draw especially from what I've learned with cog-sci. We see a story, characters, we can empathize with that.

And you haven't just stuck to one specific identity when it comes to the characters you've portrayed either. You create relatable personas, give them their own moral lens and people see a bit of themselves in those portraits.
