I had to learn this a couple years ago when Nazis were getting my videos taken down by mass flagging. An anti-fascist video that displays a swastika in it will get banned. A pro-fascist video that uses dog whistles instead of overt symbols will be left alone.
Maybe the left needs dog whistles to talk about the far right.
I literally used to do this in videos, ironically using their dogwhistles and saying "pan-European ethnonationalist" or "edgy memer" when I meant "Nazi"

Yup, we just got a theatre troupe's old trailer removed for the play "I am Adolf Eichman" that was not exactly going "yay, fascism!".
And that's why it's a bad idea to try to ban the bad guys: It only backfires ^^

What about Asian uses of the Swastika? Both in East and South Asia the swastika still is considered a sacred symbol. Most Asians from Asia barely understand that it’s a reviled Nazi symbol in the West
meanwhile there is a thriving community of 'monkey torture' lovers on youtube! people trying to make money off youtube are the ones who get hit most with censorship; but theres a fuckload of content basically inaccessible to most people & i dread to think what else there is there
ive tried flagging it in the past but nothing ever seems to be done about it. the worst thing about them is the comments, jesus. jus searching it now it seems someone has made a video bringing the issue to light (good) but there still seems to be a lot of it on there
