I had to learn this a couple years ago when Nazis were getting my videos taken down by mass flagging. An anti-fascist video that displays a swastika in it will get banned. A pro-fascist video that uses dog whistles instead of overt symbols will be left alone.

YouTube has an over-reliance on the community self police. I think they literally cannot keep up with the torrent of videos, and use the simplest most idiotic tools to sort them. The flagging system is easily manipulable and their algorithm is about as useful as a penguin queef.

They're just drowning in a sea of content and outwardly pretending they have it under control - which they clearly don't. It's chaos. It's beautiful. It's destructive, and it's going to frick us all in the b-hole.
