At this point I would simply love to turn over the whole discussion of race to non-white creators. But of course that would require audiences to stop hand-wringing about the feelings of racists and actually listen to POC. Are we ready for that?

I mean it depends on the context. If it’s a dumb 13 year old saying the n word then I’m more likely to be sympathetic if they’re blasted off the internet, but if it’s just a racist adult then they’re probably fully capable of realizing what they’re doing is wrong

I think the reason you get praised for that is because the people you do try and get inside the heads of are just the 4chan types of people in general and they're pretty much all racist (or at least performatively edgy when it comes to racial politics) and ppl make the asociation

It's likely that that approach is more likely to draw in those with economismist/ class reductionist viewpoints, who then tend to bring said content creators or ideologues into the mainstream. And they;ll only be on board with the viewpoints the lot of you espouse if....
