Sickened but not surprised at today’s SCOTUS decision, but am also feeling empowered after the massive show of love and support for trans people over the weekend. The momentum of that display of unity is powerful - do not forget that.

I feel the concerns about cis people being the only folks really celebrated for trans activism are legitimate, but as a trans woman I sorta chose to interpret this as, like, solidarity? Like, I feel a cis bi man standing by us is indicative of the strength of the queer community

oh it's def solidarity, def positive, def appreciated

i was honestly really proud of hbombs ability during the stream to just sit quietly and let tons of trans people talk about their experiences. he could have talked over everyone but (to me at least) he seems very aware that his "as a cis man" voice shouldnt be the loudest

This is what was most noticeable to me when the stream blew up.
@CaseyExplosion and others really stepped in to make sure the space@Hbomberguy had carved out could now be used to get trans views on not just rights but all sorts of subjects. - 1 more reply

I think it’s important that we (cis men) stand up, but also know when to step aside.
