but i feel like this is more of a “what if” scenario regarding the word trap actually contributing to this. like this sort of thing occurs independently of ‘trap’ being used. censoring that word isn’t gonna stop this mindset.
I'm not trying to censor the word. I'm arguing against the entire mindset including the word that represents it
So, if we get rid of the mindset, can we keep the word?
I think that's physically impossible
Regardless of whether it’s physically impossible or not, being aware of this mindset and its trappings allows for a broader understanding of the bigger problems we face. No pun intended.
