Straight cis white guy scum opinion: I really hate the term "real man." I agree with the overall point, just hate grouping guys into "real men" and I am assuming "fake men" based on how they act.
it's not a phrase I generally use, but the context is men who think being a "real man" means denying their attraction to trans women to save face, so I'm flipping that on its head
