I'm pretty hesitant to clarify my own views or address rumors, since in the past that's only made things worse for me, but it really never hurts to say: you don't need to be on hormones to be a trans woman, you don't have to pass, you don't have to be a bottom.

The feminine penis segment had the Overton Window FLYING in the right direction. So good

You watch Contrapoints? I can't believe it, I love this so much

You try your best to meet cis people on their level without compromising the humanity and respect for trans people as best you can, honestly I think those complaining about not specifically being represented need to realize that's unrealistic and would take up so much time.

It is certainly important to recognize the validity and diversity of gender across the board but we would quite literally be here all day if we were to go through all the possibilities. I think you do a good job by relating instead something that is personal to you.

It would probably go a long way if you wouldn’t mockingly jab at “innate female energy essence!!!” strawmen in your videos. I think by now you can see that’s not what’s being said or what most people are defending and it’s not fair to call people haters for being upset by it

Not to mention the whole "hairy tops not on hormones" strawman from this very thread.

one has to keep in mind what you yourself mentioned near the start of the video, that your videos are primarily for the uninitiated.

You more than most of the Youtubers I watch are actively out to change people's minds. Most aren't, which is fine. Presenting an argument, raising awareness, or just giving a rant that makes people feel less alone, all of these are good.

Sometimes your videos can make me feel a little uncomfortable in the "But no, I reject this transphobic framing entirely!" sense. But it's always worth pushing past that, for me.

i wonder if you would benefit from having a secondary platform where you can talk more candidly about this stuff, addressing a queer audience primarily. your YT channel has clearly become powerful for engaging 'the other side' and actually changing minds, but mixes signals.

the points you're making here make sense to me in terms of trying to present convincing arguments to people whose minds you want to change. but can't we make convincing arguments to them *and* actively cultivate more nuanced views in our own circles?
