What can I do other than vote? I’m overseas and worked as an organiser when I was in the states. The candidate I worked for supports state wide Medicare for all which would cover someone’s transition (I’m cis so I don’t know exactly what it entails but at least hormones)

As a ally I am livid, as a Canadian I am unable to affect the situation. I have been pressing officials and putting forward that we should open Canada to USA refugees, as it is going to get much worse before it get better (I hope I am wrong)

If this decision goes through, Trans Americans will be able to apply for refugee status. The big question is whether or not the Ministry will agree that they're eligible; raising two major questions.
