I also advise against shaming Jones for being into trans women. That hurts trans women a lot more than it hurts Alex Jones.

I don't think there is irony or hypocrisy in Jones sexual interest in trans women. Or in Richard Spencer's interest in black women. This is completely typical. As Shon says in that thread, it's not uncommon for men to be sexually attracted to people they view as subhuman.
Why shame Alex Jones for being into trans women when it's so much easier and more fun to shame him for literally everything else he has ever said or done?
Big agree. Shame him for his transphobia, not his sexual interests. Hypocrisy is the/an issue
the reason people are shaming Jones is because of the hypocrisy, not because of what he’s into.
I don't shame anyone for their sexual preferences. I shame Jones for being a hypocrite and a bigot that secretly exploits the subjects of his secret desires. He's a monster.
I reckon more men than let on are at least curious about trans women. Of course there's the whole "gay" stigma...despite being attracted to them because they're women

But this is the ONLY reason the story got media coverage, it certainly wasn't hypocrisy or non-specific pearl clutching.
