What happens every time I drag someone on Twitter (until yesterday the last one was what, Arielle back in April?) is I waste an entire day on it and then am left with this emotional hangover, feeling I've accomplished nothing but igniting waves of anger and pain.

My two cents: in many ways you already threw the door open on some things that respectability politics would've kept a lid on. The Blanchard video and Tiffany Tumbles being two clear examples. I think you do it well, and I think a lot of us cheer it on.
-
And I think there *is* a discourse in the trans community that's pushing this stuff. You're not the first to broach these subjects, after all. A lot of us talk frankly about sex, non traditional childhoods, being woefully imperfect, mental illness, et cetera. All on social media.

my two cents is that it's impossible for one person to be a voice or representative for the trans community because it's so incredibly diverse. i know that you do important work and a lot, A LOT, of people just want you to be yourself.
-
there's always going to be obnoxious people who loudly point out the tiniest misstep that you make, and tbh fuckkkkk those people. you are not perfect and never claimed to be. the one person you should please is yourself, and if other people like that, great! if not, oh well.

Please don't stifle your own voice because of stuff like this. You're a good person, and just because you look at this stuff from a different angle doesn't mean your heart isn't completely in the right place. You're a force for good. Keep doing what you're doing. We love you <3

I think it's great to see your perspective as well as "born as wrong sex" people's perspective... You give us a different point of view and better way to understand trans people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

have you ever read some Hocquenghem, Natalie ? he was a very active and diverse queer theorist / activist, very heterodox inside the gay rights movement and leftist circles. he was truly bananas but he had some *excellent* hot takes on his milieu and i feel like you'd like him.

Screwball Asses in particular is a coked-up tornado of amazing insights and a sticky mess and it's great
