This is literally how he operates with trans women, no matter how calm, how measured, how angry, how hyperbolic. He blocks, and in some cases (those he deems famous enough) he'll respond from behind the block. He did the same thing to Julia Serano recently because Noah Berlatsky
put up a resource page about him, which included Julia's article about his inappropriate linking to her dating article. He also responds to allies similarly, as he did to Noah. Singal thinks he knows trans better than trans people, and he'll never listen to us.
It speaks to his sense of superiority on trans issues that he’d post your private correspondence implying a contradiction between that and the Verge bit. It’s a dishonest distraction, but seems to be typical of him in general.

If it helps at all, remember that in 20 years your wikipedia article will be talking about your contributions to trans advocacy and discourse and Singal's will note him as a prominent transphobe. You are five times the writer and have ten times his integrity.

Yeah, you are in no way behaving in a hyperbolic manner. You’re addressing the issues point-by-point with nuance and intelligence. So weird that this would get a block instead of a discussion from him.
