I want to sign up with the "we are not a fetish" trans girls but it's hard to do that without also running headfirst into our version of the anti-porn movement of the 80's.

It's hard to have that discussion of "normalizing sexual attraction to different bodies is good" and not also normalize the "I use slurs to describe a group I'm not a part of, but like, in a sexy way while also never acknowledging that said group is what my art depicts" brigade.

Like, fuck, *I* use a lot of these words. I mean I sort of "get to" and I like identifying with them for the most part, but maybe my using them interferes with the nuance of a broader conversation, y'know?
