As most cis people, I obviously had my own process but generally, I feel like it's worth mentioning how much of gender is "in the eyes of the beholder". Like honestly seeing someone as their gender is often a switch in your own perception like those 3D cube pictures 1/
-
And i think it's totally fair to expect people to make that switch, because your ability to do so is a direct function of your acceptance and understanding of trans people.

The other day I was reading a blog post on ffs from a surgeon, he said lowering your hairline isn’t necessary feminizing, and can be the opposite. I have no opinion on what you should or shouldn’t do to your face, tho. It was just interesting and uneasy to read.
-
( the blog post was uneasy to read) Because yes, for most people who don’t have a perfect physic, if you start looking at your face through that lense (looking for masculine features on a woman face or vice versa) you are gonna find them, and it’s gonna make u feel bad.

Whatever makes you happy is the best. If that means FFS, becoming Tabby full-time, or anything you can think of, you take care of you. And know we care about you and want you to be happy too.
