6 Gay men are just as shitty about this wrt trans men as cis lesbians often are wrt trans women, and trans men are just as indignant about it as trans women—
however, cishets only care about the trans women version because it lets them pretend to care about lesbians long enough to use "defending lesbian sexuality" as a cover for implying trans women are sexual predators
7 Making transphobic claims in public is not okay (ok, it's *allowed* because free speech, but it's morally and intellectually bad you edgy snowflake). Using the framing "I won't date trans people because [transphobic claim]" is very clever, well done, but it's just as bad.

Thanks for mentioning this, people seem to think gay men can’t be transphobic because nobody ever remembers trans men are a thing. If I have to hear another transphobic joke about C sections I’m gonna scream.
Also not a fan of cis lesbians who date/sleep with pre-T trans men then treat them like trash if and when they go on T. It’s not nearly as common but definitely still a thing. See also lesbians with trans men as partners who ID solely as lesbians. Feels squicky to me, idk
