This is what it feels like: Cis: I wouldn't date a trans person because I'm afraid of their toothy vaginas. Me: You're welcome to not date trans people, but just so everyone knows, we do not have vaginas with teeth. Cis: THAT'S HOMOPHOBIC STOP POLICING SEXUALITY

The problem is that this is something commonly levied against trans people in bad faith, no amount of disclaimers will help when someone who wants to deliberately spread bogus narratives of trans people coercing cis women into sleeping with them.
-
Or to be more blunt about it, TERFs use this sort of disingenuous crap to imply trans women are all rapists.

Terfs are going to terf, and one of the things that entails is infinite bad faith. They don't care about disclaimers. If you talk about attraction to trans women they'll accuse you of wanting to rape cis lesbians. Some of them characterize trans women existing as abuse.

It's never not a disingenuous point and the main reason it's brought is never because someone got asked out by a trans woman to begin with. It's a way to broadcast transphobia under cover of appearing still tolerably woke.

It like how gamer bros reacted to Anita Sarkeesian. She put disclaimers in every video, yet they interpreted the most extreme strawman!

Natalie, I love your insights. Your video was great, but I also learned a lot from the explanation in your tweets. You're a thoughtful and informed person and you deserve to feel comfortable expressing your opinion.
