None of this actually works, except as individual coping. Because ultimately cis people have to decide to stop treating trans people like shit, and the responsibility for that does not and cannot fall on trans people.

Thing as "trans women" or "trans men" just women and men; some of who just happened to be born with a birth defect. To her the word "trans" was an assult on her gender, a permanent asterisk. She was an older lady, mid to late 50s.
