Fiddling while Rome burns. 100 big companies are responsible for 71% of emissions! This is an existential threat and it requires massive, fast regulation at the supply end and a change of industrial model! Not just sticking plasters like this!https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/2017/jul/10/100-fossil-fuel-companies-investors-responsible-71-global-emissions-cdp-study-climate-change …

It's a very welcome start. Please do something about banning benefit sanctions for the
#disabled, unemployed & working poor.https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/feb/18/disabled-people-million-benefit-sanctions-since-2010 … -
Why can’t work like everyone else
-
You fuckwit, brain-dead troll, the clue is in the word
#disabled, many are too ill & unable to work. tens of thousands have died after being found 'fit for work' after work capability assessments, then died within six weeks of being forced into work by this heartless government. -
When they are found fit for work but aren't DWP sanctions them which means they are no longer in receipt of benefit so not unemployed. They also die due to lack of money to feed themselves and keep warm.
-
Yes. One way or another, the
@DWP &@Conservatives have ended the lives of over 120,000 of the poorest & most vulnerable people in the country through#austerity &#WCA's.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/tory-austerity-deaths-study-report-people-die-social-care-government-policy-a8057306.html …

That is a slow clap

Can't even be happy about helping save the ocean. BTW slow clapping got played out in the early 2000's, James.pic.twitter.com/WfDu2FspcA

I didn’t say I wasn’t happy, I was actually pointing out how well equipped he is for the job
Thanks for the education in slow clapping, I feel truly enlightened and will continue to express my thoughts in whatever manner I deem fit. #freespeech#freeclap#savetheocean#trolls -

Another thing the Tories want to take away from us disabled. The disabled rely on straws, especially ones wth Parkinson’s disease and motor neurone conditions.
#GetTheToriesOut -
Use non plastic straws? Not hard is it.
-
Actually, yes it is. I have to admit, to my shame, that I hadn't really given it much thought until recently, but this helped spell it out for me (thanks

Plastic straws
Plastic stirrers
Plastic cotton buds
In England, per year, we use an estimated 4.7 billion plastic straws, 316 million plastic stirrers and 1.8 billion plastic-stemmed cotton buds.
