will have FRESH elections. Constitutional Court has ruled President Peter Mutharika was not duly elected in the May 2019 elections. The court has also required that a winner must get 50%+1 votes, according to the majority requirement in the constitution.

I have a paper under review for 10 months w/o a decision. Why do academic journals sometimes take so long to make decisions? A thread. TL/DR answer: It’s OUR fault, but mostly it’s YOUR fault. 1/13

Much respect for editorial team. I submitted two articles in 2019, recieving a desk reject & an R&R. Even the desk rejection provided constructive comments helping my coauthor & me revise & send to another journal. Feedback at that level with this volume is impressive.
