Grant renewal. is helping build Stratum V2, which recently opened its reference implementation for testing. This year, we dispensed with the barrel + hill trial and left his grant nailed to a tree in The Blair Witch Project woods. More here: stratumprotocol.org

We put Fi3’s (@free_sht_max) renewal grant in a barrel and made him chase it down a Swiss mountainside. Not only is this great news for Stratum V2, the neutral FOSS mining implementation he’s helping create, it’s also great for institutions rethinking bitcoin grant distribution.

Despite all their tracking, Google still thinks I care about the weather when I query lightning. We need to either name things better or build a useful technical bitcoin search. Search seemed more realistic.
