Y can't we settle on Jewish: religion Ashkenazi/Sephardic/...: race ?

Because then you say Ashkenazim, Mizrahim, and Sephardim aren't ethnically linked, which isn't true.

you can be a seperate race, be ethnically linked to other races, and still avoid "jewish people arent white" nonsense christian: religion german/french/dutch: race ...?

But we aren't a separate race. We're descendants of the Judeans, we come from the same people. Why should we be defined differently than German, French, amd Dutch people?

well i’m an ex orthodox jew and i have no issue whatsoever not being counted. i didn’t chose to leave only religion. i also chose to leave the whole mindset behind for good. it’s a bit of an insult honestly to co-opt people just because they have an unbroken matrilinear line.

Seriously? U can no more shed your Jewish genes than the colour of your skin. It is your choice whether you believe in G-d or eat bacon. You were given no choice in your birth however & this still defines you as part of the Jewish people. You might not like it but facts are facts

dude if you think you can actually tell genetically who’s a jew apart from some cohanim lineages you really need to read more. there’s no jew gene and i’m not restricted by my genetics in any way apart from medical issues.

you can continue limiting yourself to whatever genetic markers you fancy any day all day. that’s your choice. just don’t get mad about “racial stereotypes” then :-)

U can choose not to call yourself Jewish. Gesundte Heit. But your heritage, genetic or otherwise, stays with u.I pray that u will never need to seek the protection of your own homeland because others victimise u through an accident of birth(as likely happened to your grandparents)

own homeland is a bit of a stretch there unless you think every irish american should have the right to go back to ireland, in the process displacing today’s irish population. but i see you prefer tribalism over humanism.

I believe that Israel is a 70 yr old democratic sovereign state able to make its own laws, 1 of which enshrined the right of the Jewish people to self determination in their historic homeland within secure borders. It will provide safe haven for u, if u need it, believer or not.
