Great life advice -- Make a point of remembering the details of people's lives and asking about them later. If you write things down, and keep a file on people, you end up looking superhuman -- it's a costly (hard to fake) signal that you're actually paying attention.
Take it further and remember/write down the details about people who are important to them -- Example: "How did your mother's surgery go?", "Did your sister get into that class she was shooting for?" -- as with all things, 1000x better if you actually care.
On twitter you can approximate this with mutuals eg by searching “from:visakanv conaw” to see what you previously talked about. It’s really just making the effort to review your shared history
