imagine how much more comprehensible academic papers would be if literacy in visual communication was as universal as literacy in writing idk why we treat diagrams & illustrations as subordinate to the written parts of papers when they’re often more important for comprehension

If you lay out your thinking explicitly, like a loser, you give your enemies knowledge of what they need to produce evidence for to change your mind. This is why I NEVER let anyone know what I think, ESPECIALLY not myself.

The model in the CPTSD book also neatly explains how you can get so many "life-changing epiphanies" that don't stick. Going to a self-improvement workshop, or reading a good book or having a good conversation, can *put you in a non-triggered, well-resourced mental state.*

Unlike traditional note-taking apps like Evernote and OneNote, Roam works more like our brain. It feels so easy to organise my thoughts and ideas! New Video on Using Roam as a Daily Journal.

My top three Yang proposals 1. $1,000 a month - no strings 2. $100 a year to donate to political campaigns (if 50% use, washes out corporate/lobbying money by 7x) 3. $100 to donate to non-profits All have same theme - decentralize decision making power. Trust the people.

Yeah, that's where we very strongly disagree. Watched a lot of Yang, and had friends work directly with him. He strikes me as VERY genuine, and genuinely concerned about the working class. Think people like this truck driver can assess character too

My man Dave Chappelle has changed my views from Bernie's to Yang's. This guy really believes that Yang is a better solution than Bernie and I am here to say I'll gladly support my dude Yang

CSS/JS friends (looking at you and ) I'm looking to have a textarea input that will start in the middle of one line, and then flow into other lines. In below image, only the "unlocked area" is editable Is this even possible? If so, what should I google?

  19. I started to « play » with Roam a few days ago. This morning I realized I have already become an addict. I « needed » to open Roam and "think" in it. It’s NOT a replacement for my or my docs. It’s profoundly different.
