When people have decided that you are less than human, and that exploiting your work for their profit is a mercy they impart on you, you're never really "in a position to make demands". You make them anyway because you know no one else will.

Civilized nations decided a while back that all people deserved to be treated humanely, even after being imprisoned for committing a crime. Many nations also embrace rehabilitation. Are you advocating slavery-for-profit and dehumanization in the name of vengeance?

Stop dragging men off to jail for non-violent crimes. Prison in America is simply a gross HUGE business in this day and age, and sadly the prisoners are worth a lot of money to the owners and shareholders. WRONG WRONG WRONG.

I can’t help but notice it’s men with the over simplified mansplaining. Nothing to see here. Just don’t break the law. I live in Dallas, Texas. This kind of thinking is why so many people have been wrongly incarcerated and spend decades in prison here.
