Win-Win? So much for the workers who stock the shelves, cashier's, managers,and security who will be out of a job when the store closes because of the continuous lose of profit. But at least the loser with the nice shoes and bike can just go down the street and steal again.

Yes, this is obviously a thing that happens constantly, which is why it's in the news. Walgreens (total value 100 billion American dollars) has announced it will close its stores because someone grabbed a trash bag worth of cosmetics. Chaos! Dogs and cats, living together

Thieft results in loss of revenue which in return results in cut hours and less income for workers. Why do u think Walgreens are closing stores in SF? Does it not bother you that the workers are losing money and employment?

Walgreens can eat the cost. Maybe they should stop lobbying for laws that lead to this.
